Opportunities With SDS |
SDS, Inc. is presently seeking Automation Engineering Professionals to become part of our team! The successful candidates will help design and support the hardware and control software of a wide range of fully automated, industrial manufacturing lines. The qualified individuals will work from a home office, generating the necessary engineering software and documentation, and will be required from time to time to travel to the job site as needed for meetings and final commissioning with other SDS experts. Relocation is not required. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or an Associates Degree in Electrical / Electronics Technologies combined with a 5-10 years proven controls design experience. Qualified individuals will posses a minimum of 2-5 years proven experience with Rockwell Automation's RSLogix 5000 and ControlLogix PLC platform. Other Skills required are experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word and Excel. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated experience with ABB Drives and Controllers; Industrial device communication protocols, Rockwell Automation's Kinetics 6000 and PowerFlex 700 drive systems. We offer a highly competitive base salary with premium pay for overtime and double time, Medical, Dental, Life, Disability Insurance programs and job completion bonus.
